Synopsis

With Richard Wiese as your guide, experience inspiring, memorable and entertaining stories about nature, people, places and the planet we all inhabit. “Born to Explore” feeds your curiosity and broadens your mind, taking you and your family on spectacular journeys.

Dove Review

Richard Wiese travels the world to explore nature, people groups and creatures from around the world. Travel to Belize, visit a Mayan village or dig for dinosaurs in Canada with Dan Ackroyd and his wife, Donna Dixon.

Wiese takes the viewer to volcanoes, icy tundras, deserts and jungles. Each episode makes the learning experience memorable. Did you know that elephants can drink 80 gallons of water at one time or that a crocodile can live 100 years?

“Born to Explore” is a very educational series that takes the viewer from Australia to Newfoundland, from North Carolina to Morocco, and from Hawaii to Iceland. No matter where Wiese goes, he informs the viewer of different cultures, their ways and traditions, and the creatures that the locals enjoy in their area. He also tries some of the local cuisine and looks at handcrafted art. We are proud to award Season 1 of “Born to Explore” the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
